Lush Layers

This garden rethinks the swaths of lawn that once occupied this oversized lot. The design demonstrates that beautiful, colorful, and lush surroundings can be sustainable and drought-conscious. The lawn replacement of our former design for the site 15 years earlier allowed space for thoughtful garden spaces like a vegetable garden with crops of vegetables and leafy greens, as well as an outdoor dining room surrounded by a grove of trees.
